On June 30, 2017, Lingen precision medical products (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shangyou Yijing Investment Co., Ltd. and Sweden Nidacon international AB signed a joint venture agreement on "Lidacon Life Science (Shanghai) Co., Ltd." in Gothenburg, Sweden. Mr. Li Huanchang, chairman of Shenzhen Changhong Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhu Dexin, executive president of Lingen precision medical products (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Mr. Paul v. Holmes, President of Sweden Nidacon international AB, and Mr. Hans, general manager of cross real M & a consulting company of Danish boutique investment bank, attended the signing ceremony.
Founded in the 1990s, Nidacon is a global company that produces and sells human assisted reproductive culture fluid products. Mr. Paul v. Holmes, the founder of the company, is an expert in human assisted reproduction and a scientist in immunity and assisted reproduction. He once founded vitrolife and has published more than 150 relevant papers in medical journals. More than ten assisted reproductive products developed and produced by Nidacon company have obtained CE and FDA certification, especially sperm treatment liquid products, which are widely used in reproductive centers in dozens of countries around the world.
The newly established joint venture company is responsible for the production and sales of Nidacon's localized products in China, and the joint venture brand is positioned as a domestic high-end brand. Swedish Nidacon company has authorized the joint venture to use Nidacon trademark and nearly 20 proprietary technologies, and finally realize research and development in Europe and production and sales in China. Lingen precision medical products (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. hopes to break the monopoly of domestic assisted reproductive products market by imported products, provide high-quality products for domestic reproductive centers and help the development of reproductive medicine in China.
